Painting + Mosaic - Diamond Trevally. This is a mosaic-painting of a school of diamond trevally, a common fish species found off the coat of Australia. This artwork is intended to be oriented in a "diamond shape" on the wall. The steel blue ocean colour and pearlescent areas on the fish have been done with oil paint. The turquoise coloured stripes on the fish have been done using stained glass. I also attached clear glass over the fins and tails of the fish.
